Our Work
Stahili Foundation is a registered charity in Kenya, the Netherlands, and the United States. We work in child protection, development, education, and human rights. We are committed to changing care systems by working with government and local communities to support family- and community-based alternatives to orphanages.
Stahili’s work in Kenya involves helping children get home from orphanages and providing holistic support to strengthen families and create opportunities for education and sustainable development.
Protection

Education

Human Rights

Keeping families together
Stahili empowered Hannah to reunite with her children from an orphanage in rural Kenya. Thanks to the support of generous donors, Stahili mobilised shelter, food, and education support so that Hannah could care for the children.Today, Hannah is working on her small farm and plans to grow avocados to pay for school fees.
